Bio:
Skarthia is a young upcoming metal band from North London, featuring Avichai Myers, Sapir Rajuan, Adam Gigi.
Skarthia started around the beginning of 2009 after Sapir attended a charity gig organised by Avichai and some friends, [the gig involved a band consisting of Adam, Avichai, ex-drummer Orrie Catriel and friend of the band David Darwish], Avichai met Sapir and suggested her trying out for a band he was trying to start with Adam and Orrie, needless to say she succeeded.
From then on material for the debut album was in the process of being written and in the summer of 2010 the band recorded a well recieved demo called "No Last Words".
In 2011 After pre-recording for the debut album, Orrie left the band due to difficult circumstances but stayed on good terms with the band.
At the end of the summer of 2011 the band began recording the debut album with Tyrian Purple as engineer/co-producer.
On March 27th 2012 the band released the debut album "Retaliate" online for download. |
